Biography of Dio

Former Black Sabbath member Ronnie James Dio organized the Hear-n-Aid benefit. Most of his songs have references to Medieval times, rainbows, and magic. Dio's band has hosted many guitarists that have moved on to other great bands; Vivian Campbell of Whitesnake, Shadowking, and, currently, Def Leppard, Craig Goldy of Guiffria, and Rowan Robertson, an 18-year-old from England who is currently putting together his own project. Dio is now back in his old band Black Sabbath. He has also been the lead singer of Elf and Rainbow. ~ Robert DeFreitas
